American Idol Announces Top 24

American Idol spent the last week narrowing down from 40 contestants to 24. On Wednesday's show, all contestants moved to Las Vegas to do covers of The Beatles. The contestants were teamed up in groups of 2 or 3 and took turns singing. There were many good performances, but a few good ones as well. The judges then got rid of a few and for the remaining they gave them a chance to sing a solo song before they cut out more people to get to 24.
