New York Fashion Week is always fun and inspiring, but this year the event was extra special because I got sit in the front row at Michael Costello’s Spring 2015 runway show. This blog post covers the event as well as features a few Kaki West pics from the evening.

The Event

Many of you might remember Michael Costello from the eight season of Project Runway, and later on as the talented designer who dressed Beyonce and many others. This gifted designer happens to be a good friend of mine, so celebrating his latest collection was more than a treat. I watched the show seated right next to my best friend and talented makeup artist Tay Rivera, which just added to the excitement of the night.

The Collection

Michael Costello didn’t disappoint. The entire show was a 10. He unveiled several collections of red carpet-worthy gowns, from floral to mesh to midnight blue. All of the gowns were stunning and elegant, and I’m sure that there was a dress for nearly every woman in the audience.
