Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony file for divorce

After seven years of marriage Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced last Friday via a press release that they would be divorcing. The press releases stated:

“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

Jennifer Lopez also twitted a link to the press release. The couple have 3-year-old twins, one boy and one girl.

J-Lo who was named as the most beautiful woman in the world last year by People magazine, is expected to come back as a judge next year on American Idol.
