Ashton Kutcher to Replace Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men
Finally the popular CBS show “Two and a Half Men” has found a replacement for Charlie Sheen. Charlie Sheen who was fired over a month ago for ranting negative comments about the show writers and producers had expressed interest to come back, but show producers were not interested in bringing him back. After months of speculation who would replace Charlie Sheen, it was announced that Ashton Kutcher is the guy.
Last week Hugh Grant was also offered the role, but he rejected. It seems many actors are afraid to be compared to Charlie Sheen and not be able to perform as well as he did.
On Thursday when the news broke, Ashton Kutcher Tweeted: “I’m starting to become convinced that people put my name in articles just to improve their SEO or hoping I’ll tweet it.”
Ashton has a huge Twitter following at 6.7 million followers and it is a plus for any network to have him, due to his power of promotion.
It was not disclosed what Ashton’s salary would be, but I would personally not be surprised if they matched Charlie’s salary of $1 million per episode.
