Jonathan Ansell to Star in Whistle Down the Wind
Jonathan, who was the star of X Factor three years ago, has been recently cast in Bill Ken Wright’s production of Tim Rice’s and Andrew Lloyd Weber’s production of Whistle Down the Wind. The production will open on January 20, 2010.Ansell, who has just released his second album called “forever”, has been on a nationwide tour. The star has gained the hearts of many with his passion and voice for his classical sound. His first album, which was called “Tenor at the Movies” shot to number one in the classical charts. The star, who was called the “Justin Timberlake of Opera”, is enjoying his journey to fame, but is said to be modest about his successes.Whistle Down the Wind is a fairy tale based on the 1960’s classic starring Hayley Mills and Alan Bates. The story is about a lady named Swallow, who finds a man in her barn. When she questions the man about who he is he replies by saying that he is “Jesus Christ”. In order to protect the man from the town’s folk, Swallow gets help from the town’s children. The plot thickens when the people search for a man who has escaped from prison.Whistle Down the Wind is an upbeat modern production, with songs like “No Matter What” by Boyzone, which was an international hit in the UK. The play is an uplifting tale about children, love, courage, and their belief in what is true.
